Award Recipient
Camille A. Brown is a groundbreaking choreographer, director, and educator whose work celebrates Black culture through dance, theater, television, and film. A five-time Tony Award nominee and founder of Camille A. Brown & Dancers, she is widely recognized for redefining storytelling through movement while inspiring audiences and artists around the world.

A certified pediatric nurse practitioner in the Mount Sinai Health System school-based health centers program. A longtime SBI supporter and former SBI Board Director, Tammy has spent her career bringing quality healthcare directly to the students and families of this community.
Dr. Lottie Taylor
Special SBI Tribute
The legendary founding principal of A. Philip Randolph Campus High School. In 1990, Dr. Taylor opened the school's doors to SBI, then a fledgling organization with a bold idea, and thirty-six years of transformation followed. Everything that came after began with her yes.

Dinner will be crafted by Chef Kevin Mateo, a Randolph alumnus who now brings the farm-rooted, fine-dining sensibility of his own company, Hearth of Hudson, back home to serve a menu reflecting the rich mix of cultures that built this community.

For 37 years, Sound Business, Inc. has helped expand opportunity for students at A. Philip Randolph Campus High School by connecting them to mentorship, creative and career experiences, college and workforce preparation, and a broader network of alumni, families, educators, and community partners.
The Annual Benefit Gala helps sustain that work. It brings together the people and organizations invested in SBI’s mission, celebrates the community that has helped shape its legacy, and generates the support needed to continue creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation.
