Philip Randolph Campus High School community—building relationships, expanding opportunity, and creating pathways for students, alumni, families, educators, and supporters to invest in one another. Recipient

Camille A. Brown is a groundbreaking choreographer, director, and educator whose work celebrates Black culture through dance, theater, television, and film. A five-time Tony Award nominee and founder of Camille A. Brown & Dancers, she is widely recognized for redefining storytelling through movement while inspiring audiences and artists around the world.

For 37 years, Sound Business, Inc. has helped expand opportunity for students at A. Philip Randolph Campus High School by connecting them to mentorship, creative and career experiences, college and workforce preparation, and a broader network of alumni, families, educators, and community partners.
 

The Annual Benefit Gala helps sustain that work. It brings together the people and organizations invested in SBI’s mission, celebrates the community that has helped shape its legacy, and generates the support needed to continue creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation.

We work to expand opportunity for students by connecting education with mentorship, career preparation, creative experiences, and community support. Through its long-term partnership with A. Philip Randolph Campus High School, SBI helps build the relationships, resources, and experiences students need to thrive in school and beyond.
