7 Schools in 2 Days
When: Sunday, October 31 through Monday, November 1, 2010
Where: Departs and Returns to Randolph HS ~~> Colgate University, Hamilton College, Utica College, Le Moyne College, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Nazareth College, and SUNY Geneseo
Why: To engage in an experience that challenges students to find out what Academic resources each school has and to develop relationships, strategies, and information that will allow a better chance of admission with increased financial aid opportunity.
Who: Up to 50 Seniors and Select Juniors
How: Submit $185.00 (includes Bus, Meals, and Hotel) by October 21 and submit permission forms by October 26
Deposit of $50.00 by October 7 to confirm Seat.

Sunday, 10/31

4:00 AM Doors open at APRCHS St. Nicholas Terrace entrance
4:30 All aboard Academy Charter Bus
5:00 Bus departs for Colgate University (Hamilton, NY)
8:00 Name teams for the Colgate exploratory exercises
9:00 Arrive at Colgate – Breakfast will be followed by campus exploration
11:00 Depart Colgate. Travel to Hamilton College
11:30 Arrive at Hamilton College (Clinton, NY). Teams commence campus exploration and interviews.
12:00 noon Brunch at “Bon Appetit”/Hamilton Commons
1:00 PM Depart Hamilton College on route to Utica College
1:30 Arrive at Utica College for brief independent walking tour
2:15 Depart Utica for LeMoyne College
3:15 Arrive at LeMoyne College. Meet with LeMoyne delegation headed by HEOP Director. Info session; campus tour; dinner
5:45 Depart LeMoyne College on route to hotel
6:00 Arrive at Quality Inn, 6611 Old Collamer Road in East Syracuse NY
MONDAY 11/1

6:00 Continental Breakfast at Hotel
6:15 Board Bus
6:30 Depart for Hobart and William Smith Colleges (Geneva, NY)
7:30 Arrive at Hobart and William Smith. Meet Admission Office representative. Breakfast will be followed by campus tour and College Admission Seminar.
10:30 Depart for Nazareth College
11:30 Arrive at Nazareth College. Meet HEOP Representative and tour campus.
12:00 noon Lunch at campus dining facility
12:45 PM Depart Nazareth on route to Geneseo
1:45 Arrive at Geneseo. Students continue information gathering exercises. Meet with college representatives. Students pick up snacks for the bus ride home.
2:30 Depart Geneseo College on route to NYC.
8:00 PM Arrive at Randolph High

Attire should be nice casual clothes. No ripped jeans. You are trying to make a great impression so you should have a collegiate look. Jeans or pants with a classy sweater always looks good.
Wear shoes that are warm and that will keep your feet dry in case of rain. Sneakers are acceptable.
We will be outside walking around for hours.
Make sure you dress in layers.
The day time temperature can be as high as 65 degrees, and in the evening it can drop to 45 degrees. Be prepared.
We will provide food and lodging but you should bring pocket money for souvenirs, snacks etc.
Trip participants should meet in the Randolph High lobby no later than 4:15 AM.
The school will be open at 4:00 AM. We will not wait for late arriving students.
We suggest that each student arrange to have a fellow student give him/her a
2:30 AM wake-up call.
Required:
Small Notebook, Pen & Pencil (You will need this on the bus)
*Doctor prescribed medications if applicable (i.e. inhaler, insulin, allergy medicine, etc.)
Tylenol or similar headache medicine (We are not allowed to provide this to students)
Eyeglasses and/or contacts if applicable
Optional Items:
Camera (Photo and/or Video) You should bring a Camera if you can.

Pocket Money $10-$40 Suggested (Food and Lodging is included in the $185.00 fee. Money is for on site purchases and incidentals)
